Pharrell Williams has taken on yet another huge role in the music and entertainment industry. The N.E.R.D. producer and hip hop artist has been extended the invitation to work on the Oscar Awards’ music ‘soundtrack’ (if you will) in the coming weeks.
Skateboard P sat down and got comfortable to talk with Miss Info about his role being in charge of the music for the evening; of course alongside Hans Zimmer. He also made a good use of their “studio” shoot time by including in some of his “Qream liqueur” in the frames.
The overall vibe of the Oscar’s will likely be more of a heady “emotional directive” vibe, as Pharrell puts together his thoughts verbally. Speaking on the music that is to accompany the major night in awards show history:
“The music will be really colorful, but it won’t get in the way…Working on the Oscars with Hans, though we’re partners and we’re collaborators on this project, I still look at it like he’s still my mentor, so I’m still learning.”
