Kanye West Is Still In Talks To Work On ‘Jetsons’ Movie

Though his previous Twitter rant sparked “Jetsons” filmmakers to lash out and say that he was not indeed going to be the “creative director” for the upcoming Jetsons flick, it has been confirmed that he is certainly still in talks to work on the movie and give his creative input.

The conversation he brought up on Twitter that came before his out of nowhere DONDA announcement was a “fun brainstorming conversation” as described by Denise Di Novi, producer. She shared that he is a huge fan of the cartoon series and that the conversation had was strictly preliminary.

“Kanye’s always been a Jetsons fan, I think because he’s so into design and he loves the design aspects. So we had a fun brainstorming conversation. We heard that he knew we were working on the Jetsons, he reached out and said he’s a huge Jetsons fan. He was interested in creatively brainstorming what we were doing with the movie and what ideas he might have. It was a really friendly, preliminary conversation.” [MTV]

There’s no word on just what will happen with the movie, but we can bet that Ye will want to be involved in one way or another.
