Adele Flips The Bird To Brit Awards When Speech Is Cut Short

Adele just made her infamous comeback to live stage performances a couple of short weeks ago when she sang her heart out at the Grammy Awards stateside. The 23 year old British songbird went on to continue her winning streak at the Brit Awards– only she got a chance to show off her first class temper.

While accepting an award in her own home country, the singer began to get peeved as she was practically ushered off stage by the presenter announcing musical act Blur. It was just when she began to speak about being a proud British woman– and not but a few seconds later Adele was proudly flipping the bird.

She later commented to BBC, “”I flung the middle finger. That was for the suits at the Brit Awards, not my fans. I’m sorry if I offended anyone but the suits offended me.” We’re guessing her fans didn’t need an explanation, as they were likely angry at the interruption as well.

The middle finger shot was visible for a split second on tv, as the Brits are aired live and the show’s excuse to cutting off their flagship artist for the country was that they were running behind.
